Everything you need to know about Foundera, membership, events and mentoring.
Getting Started
Yes. Joining the Foundera community is free. Our Skool community is open to everyone at no cost. Events are free or low-cost to attend and pricing is always communicated clearly before you register.
Foundera is built for young Australians who are building something, starting a career or trying to get ahead. If you are a founder with an idea, a student trying to land your first role, or someone early in a corporate career, there is a place for you here.
Events are currently in Sydney. The online community, resources and mentoring are available to members anywhere in Australia. We are planning to expand to other cities in 2027.
The tracks describe who you are, not separate paid tiers. Founders get access to pitch nights, investor mentoring and startup workshops. Professionals get career panels, senior mentors and skill workshops. Students get campus events, university partnerships and the Foundera Business Challenge. All members access the full community regardless of track.
Yes. A lot of our members are students who are also building something on the side, or professionals who are working on a startup. You can identify with more than one track and we will match you accordingly.
Mentoring
When you join, you fill in a short profile covering your goals, industry and what you are working on. We match you manually with a mentor in your field, not an algorithm. You will receive an introduction by email. If the match is not right, we will rematch you.
We aim to make a match within two weeks of you completing your profile. The timeline depends on availability in your specific field, but we will keep you updated if it takes longer.
Apply through the Partners page or email team@founderaa.com.au with the subject line "Mentor Application". We look for people who have built something, navigated something hard and are willing to be straight about it.
Events
Events are kept small on purpose. You will be in a room with people who have actually built things, not a crowd watching a stage. Every event includes structured networking and a follow-up from the Foundera team within 48 hours connecting you to anyone you asked to meet.
Most events are free or low-cost for Foundera members. Any ticketed events will be communicated clearly in advance with pricing listed before you register. There are no surprise charges.
Drop your email on the Events page and you will hear before anyone else. We also announce everything inside the Skool community first.
Community & Resources
Skool is the platform where the Foundera community lives. It is where members connect, access guides and resources, get event updates and hear from mentors. Think of it as a private community space. Joining is free and you can find it at skool.com/foundera.
We publish free guides, templates and playbooks covering resumes, internships, corporate careers, networking and more. Four are live now with more dropping regularly. You can access all of them on the Resources page. No sign-up required.
General
You can leave the Skool community at any time with one click from your profile settings. No lock-in, no cancellation fee, no questions asked.
We collect only what we need: your name, email and the information you share in your profile. We do not sell your data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
