Capability is common. What isn't common is knowing the right people at the right time. We built Foundera for young Australians who had the drive but not the doors.
Why we started
The gap between ambition and access is too wide.
In Australia, there is no shortage of ambitious young people. Walk into any university lecture hall, scroll through any LinkedIn feed, sit in any corporate office. You will find people in their late teens and early twenties who are extraordinary. They have ideas, energy and the work ethic to back it up.
What they do not have is the right introduction at the right moment. The mentor who tells them the truth before the mistake costs them six months.
Foundera was built to close that gap. Not because it was a good business idea. Because we kept meeting people who deserved better and there was nothing there for them.
